DESCRIPTION:SAR KATWIJK CANCELLED \n\n\n\nDue to the expected severe weather with code yellow for the Dutch coast on Saturday 6 July\, the organisers of SAR Katwijk have unfortunately had to decide to cancel SAR Katwijk 2024. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSAR Katwijk is the annual open day of the Rescue Brigade in Katwijk Beach. From 10.00 to 16.00 hours there is a spectacular programme on land\, at sea and in the air. SAR Katwijk is an annual event organised by the Katwijk Rescue Brigade (KRB). During the day\, the various participants demonstrate their activities in the field of rescue work. The KRB\, in collaboration with the Royal Dutch Rescue Society\, Police\, Katwijk Fire Brigade\, Regional Ambulance Service Hollands-Midden\, NHV\, PHDC\, Coastguard and many others\, provides a day-long programme for both young and old. \n\n\n\nProgramme SAR Katwijk 2022\n\n\n\nSAR Katwijk 2022 promises to be another spectacular show with a packed programme\, so make a note of Saturday 2 July in your diary! At the beginning of August\, the castle gardens of Keukenhof transform into a party for young and old\, where you step into another world as soon as you pass through the gates. Castlefest is a total experience with lots of music\, fantasy writers\, catering in style\, medieval crafts and a large market with everything the Fantasy lover is looking for. \n\n\n\nA large number of bands will perform on the various festival stages\, from Pagan Folk to World music\, from Medieval Rock to Indie. In short\, there is something for every music lover! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCastlefest is characterised by its special atmosphere. This makes regular visitors look forward to the next edition a year in advance. It creates a feeling of being in a completely different world for a few days\, which makes you feel homesick for the festival in the weeks that follow. \n\n\n\nThe Castlefest feeling is not easy to describe\, but something you have to experience for yourself. The annual highlight of the festival is the Wickerman burning. Together with visitors\, exhibitors\, caterers and the organisation\, you live up to the moment that the Wickerman is lit. The energy that is released at that moment is a special experience that should not be missed. \n\n\n\nFantasy festival Keukenhof\n\n\n\nCastlefest takes place from 31 July to 3 August 2025 at Keukenhof Castle in Lisse. \n\n\n\nOpening hours Castlefest\n\n\n\n\nThursday\, 31 July – The festival area surrounding the campsite is open from 10.00 to 24.00. \n\n\n\nFriday\, August 1 – The festival is open from 10.00 to 24.00. As every year\, you will not be allowed to bring food and drink to Castlefest. Now we will absolutely not whine about a few sandwiches and a bottle of drink\, but whole cooler bags full of food and drink\, crates and trays of beer will not be allowed. Other forms of alcohol will also be taken. The latter has to do with regulations and our catering licence. So we will not be as tight as\, say\, a Lowlands\, but we have to enforce these rules. We hope for your understanding.   Do I have to pay for my bike in the car park? No\, you don’t have to pay for your bike.   Are dogs also allowed to attend Castlefest? Dogs – if leashed – are allowed on the grounds.In the interest of animal welfare\, other animals are not allowed at Castlefest.   Is Castlefest wheelchair-friendly? The paths on the Keukenhof estate are often easily accessible for people in wheelchairs. In addition\, the stands are equipped with a ramp and a disabled toilet is available. Some dedicated parking spaces are available.   Can you withdraw money at the Castlefest site? During the event\, limited cash can be withdrawn at the box offices. This event is also successfully broadcast on national TV (Omroep MAX) every year. Flower Parade Rijnsburg distinguishes itself from other flower parades by using hundreds of different types of flowers\, which are arranged by professional arrangers. The first flower parade in Rijnsburg took place in 1946. This makes the parade one of the oldest in the Netherlands. \n\n\n\nTheme and designs Praalwagens 2025\n\n\n\nThe theme of the summer Flower Parade is ‘Once upon a time…‘. This Theme is reflected in the designs of the Flower Parade’s floats. Below are the 10 designs of the 2024 floats. Starting this year\, the show opens at 4pm. An atmospheric afternoon and evening with music and lots of flowers. Here you can watch and photograph all the cars at your leisure. There are extra activities especially for the children between 16.00 and 18.30.  \n\n\n\nOn Sunday 10 August\, the floats can be admired all day on the Kon. Dan volgt nu de kans om dat goed te maken. En was je er wel bij? Het gaat in oktober 2026 nog leuker worden. In oktober 2025 wordt voor de vierde keer een groot wandelspektakel gehouden. De vierdaagse van de Bollenstreek voert je door alle dorpen waar de bewoners zich van hun allerbeste kant laten zien. \n\n\n\nDe 2026 editie van de Duin en Bollen Vierdaagse heeft vijf verschillende afstanden. Je kan kiezen voor 30\, 20\, 15\, 10 of 5 kilometer wandelen per dag.  \n\n\n\nVoor iedere afstand is er een geweldig mooie beloning\, namelijk een fantastische medaille. In 2026 krijgt u  een medaille prijken met het cijfer 4 (van de 4e editie). Doe je voor het eerst of voor de tweede keer mee\, kan je ook kiezen voor de medaille waar de 1\,2 of 3 op staat\, zodat je de serie van 5 medailles alsnog bij elkaar kunt wandelen. Je moet er wel de finish voor halen na 4 wandeldagen. Ga dus alvast maar trainen… \n\n\n\nDe afstanden van de Vierdaagse\n\n\n\nDe Duin en Bollen Vierdaagse heeft gelijk een ruime keuze aan wandelafstanden. ook is er een speciale kindereditie. Heb jij altijd al eens willen meedoen met een vierdaagse? Dan is de Duin en Bollen Vierdaagse natuurlijk hét moment om je bucketlist af te vinken. Hieronder vindt je meer informatie per afstand: \n\n\n\nAfstanden30 kmYes\, is de langste en dus de grootste afstand. Voor de dertig (30.000 meters is al gauw 40.000 stappen) heb je echt een serieuze voorbereiding nodig\, zeg maar gerust een soort trainingsstage. Want als je te weinig getraind hebt\, ga je dat op de 30 kilometer echt voelen\, dus start nu. Tip: oefen minstens met z’n tweeën (stok achter de deur?).20 km“Dat kan ik wel”. Hoor je het hem of haar zeggen? Geef wel meteen het welgemeende advies dat een goede voorbereiding nodig is. Simpel: verkijk je nou niet op vier dagen lang een halve marathon wandelen (weleens van spierpijn gehoord?). Pak het schema en probeer het eens uit\, desnoods een dag. En doe het samen.15 kmKan iedereen\, zou je zeggen\, maar dat is niet zo. Je moet voor deze afstand echt wel een paar kilometers hebben gemaakt (met vrienden of vriendinnen)\, want ook hier geldt… je moet die vijftien kilometers (ongeveer 20.000 stappen) wel vier dagen achter elkaar volbrengen.10 kmIs bedoeld voor de gevorderde beginner of voor de herstellende geblesseerde of gewoon voor de wandelaar die 10 kilometer wel genoeg vindt. DESCRIPTION:The Flower Parade Bollenstreek will drive from Noordwijk to Haarlem again on Saturday 17 April 2027. On the way\, the flower parade will\, of course\, pass by the flower fields of the Netherlands and Keukenhof flower park. The flower parade is the highlight of the Corsoweek in the Bollenstreek\, with many events and\, of course\, the tulip fields at their most beautiful. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFlower Parade Bollenstreek 2027\n\n\n\nThe flower parade starts early in the morning and travels about 42 kilometres to arrive in Haarlem in the evening.
