Keukenhof and the tulip fields are about 60 kilometres from Rotterdam. In Rotterdam, the Tulip Festival Shuttle departs only from the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. In 2027 the shuttle runs from the Easter weekend (Easter Sunday is 28 March) until the end of the Tulip Festival on 9 May.

By public transport from Rotterdam to Keukenhof
Travelling before the Easter weekend, or prefer public transport? Take the train from Rotterdam to Leiden Centraal and change there to Qbuzz Keukenhof bus 854, which runs directly to Keukenhof during the tulip season. On busy days a seat on the bus is not always available. Check 9292.nl for current travel times.
By car from Rotterdam to Keukenhof
By car it is about 60 kilometres from Rotterdam to Keukenhof. There is a large car park at Keukenhof. Keukenhof works with tickets with an arrival time, so book your entrance ticket and parking ticket in advance on the Keukenhof website.
By taxi from Rotterdam to Keukenhof
A more expensive option is to take a taxi from Rotterdam to Keukenhof. There are several taxi services available in Rotterdam. A taxi ride from Rotterdam to the tulip fields will cost around € 100.00 for a one-way trip. Always ask the taxi service or taxi driver in advance what the price will be and make a fixed price agreement. For the return trip to Rotterdam, you can get a taxi in front of the main entrance of Keukenhof or use a taxi service such as Uber.
