Coming from further away, for example from The Hague, Utrecht, Eindhoven or Arnhem? Take the train to Schiphol and change there to the Tulip Festival Shuttle to Keukenhof. Schiphol has direct train connections with many Dutch cities, and from Schiphol you reach Keukenhof in about 30 minutes. In 2027 Keukenhof is open from 18 March to 9 May.
How it works: train to Schiphol, then the shuttle
- Take the train to Schiphol Airport station. Plan your journey on ns.nl or 9292.nl.
- At Schiphol, board the Tulip Festival Shuttle. You will find the boarding point and departure times on the page Tulip Festival Shuttle from Schiphol.
- In about 30 minutes you arrive at Keukenhof; your entrance ticket is included.
- You decide when to go back: to Schiphol or to Amsterdam Centre.

Based in the Rotterdam area? From the Easter weekend there is also a Tulip Festival Shuttle from the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal.
Prefer to travel by public transport all the way?
Take the train to Leiden Centraal, Haarlem or Hoofddorp and change there to a Qbuzz Keukenhof bus: bus 854, bus 850 or bus 859. These are regular public transport buses; on busy days a seat is not always available.

There is a large car park at Keukenhof. Keukenhof works with tickets with an arrival time, so book your entrance ticket and parking ticket in advance on the Keukenhof website.
