Beach Pavilion De Watering is the brand-new, year-round beach pavilion on the north side of the Katwijk aan Zee boulevard, on the site of the former B.E.A.C.H. Katwijk. Owner Marcel Dees had the pavilion rebuilt in 2024 into a permanent, year-round pavilion — no more annual setup and teardown, but the same cozy living-room feel. Since its official reopening on 1 July 2024, De Watering has been open daily from 9.00 am for breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner, with a lively atmosphere and a beautiful view over the North Sea. There is a play corner inside and a large play structure outside, so you’re welcome here with children too. The pavilion also caters parties, weddings, barbecues and meetings. Right next to the pavilion are the De Watering beach houses, where you can have an order from the pavilion delivered for free via a QR code or by phone.
