Keukenhof, the spring garden of Holland
Keukenhof flower park in Lisse is the world’s largest tulip garden with over seven million bulbs that are planted by hand every autumn. It is one of the most beautiful attractions in the Netherlands, which also attracts many foreign tourists. The flower park will only be open for 53 days in 2025. The flower park is centrally located between the most beautiful flower fields of the Netherlands. In Keukenhof, there are different viewpoints on the flower fields. A boat trip along the flower fields also departs from Keukenhof (extra costs) and you can rent a bike at Keukenhof. This way you can enjoy the crocuses, daffodils, tulips and hyacinths even more.
What is the Keukenhof theme for 2025?
In 2025, Keukenhof will not have an overarching theme. The flower shows will each have their own theme. This will make a visit to Keukenhof even more varied.
The most beautiful walking park in spring
The 15-kilometer hiking trails of the Keukenhof are laid out in such a way that you have a spectacular view of the fragrant flower gardens and flower greenhouses. During your walk you will see unique, weekly changing flower shows, beautiful ponds and various pavilions with restaurants and terraces. In addition to the beautiful flower gardens, Keukenhof is also home to the largest sculpture park in the Netherlands. You can admire here many images made by national and international artists.
Keukenhof with children
The flower park is also very popular with children. In addition to the enchanting colors of the flowers, children will have a great time at the Miffy playground. There is also a nice treasure hunt through the park where children also learn something about flower bulbs. The children’s farm and a nice maze also make the flower park an ideal family outing.

Keukenhof opening times in 2025
The flower garden is open from March 20 to May 11, 2025. Every day the park opens at 8:00 am and closes at 7:00 pm. In 2025 it will be necessary to buy your ticket online. You have to indicate on which day and at which time you will visit Keukenhof. It is advisable to visit the park in the early morning or during closing time. Often the light is the most beautiful and it is also quieter in the park.

Travel to Keukenhof by car
The flower park is located between Amsterdam and The Hague and is easily accessible via the A4 (exit Nieuw-Vennep) and the A44 (exit 3 Lisse). Follow the ‘Keukenhof’ signs. You can park (buy your parking ticket online for only € 10.00) in the parking lot. Do you drive with navigation? Then use this address:

Once you are close to the Keukenhof flower park, follow the signs ‘Keukenhof‘. The signs will direct you to an available parking area.
Parking at Keukenhof
The flower park is easily accessible by car, train and bus. There is a large parking area with many parking spaces in front of the park entrance. Buy your parking ticket online and you pay € 10.00 for a day ticket. Attention: In 2025 you have to reserve your parking ticket online.
Travel with the Keukenhof bus
Keukenhof is also very well served by public transport. There are special Keukenhof buses that go directly to the flower park. There are also special combi tickets so that you can travel cheaply from Amsterdam, Schiphol, Haarlem and Leiden. With the combi-tickets you get a return bus ticket and entrance to the flower park.
