From Thursday 21 March to Sunday 12 May 2024, the Bulb Region is all about the joyful spring flowers. The colourful Dutch landscape is a must-see every spring. Tip 1 | Holiday among the tulips
Do you really need a holiday in a different environment? Then quickly book your holiday among the tulips. Besides the flower fields, enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands, the dunes and the Holland lakes area. There are many holiday parks, hotels and b&b’s where you can spend a surprising holiday in the Netherlands. The flowering period includes the Easter weekend, Kings Day, the May holiday and Ascension Day. So plenty of free days to enjoy the Dutch flowers!

Tip 2 | Cycle the free Bollenstreek Flower Route
Cycling is an ideal way to fully enjoy the blooming flower fields. We have developed the unique Bollenstreek Bloemenroute of 35 km where you cycle past several fun (flower) attractions. You will also pass the beach of Langevelderslagand the beautiful dune area. Along the route, there are several bike rental shops where you can rent a bicycle or electric bike. The route can also be downloaded via flowertour.nl or available at various hotels and holiday parks in the Bollenstreek region.
Tip 3 | Visit one of the flower attractions
Every spring, the blooming bulb fields in the Bulb Region are a popular destination for visitors from all over the world. Many flower attractions work with a maximum number of visitors. It is therefore wise to book your ticket in advance.
