The Most Beautiful Traffic Jam of the Netherlands 2024 in Noordwijk
19 April 2024 – 10:00 – 21 April 2024 – 18:00
The Most Beautiful Traffic Jam of the Netherlands 2024 will be organised for the 27th time in 2024. Throughout the weekend, around 40 passenger cars and three floats will be in the “traffic jam” on Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard in Noordwijk aan Zee.
Programme The Most Beautiful Traffic Jam of the Netherlands 2024
There is plenty to do in Noordwijk during the flower event. The programme is as follows:
Friday evening 19 April
On Friday evening, 19 April, a special parade of about 40 passenger cars and 3 floats of The Most Beautiful File of the Netherlands will be presented from 17:30. This preview will be on the Oranje Promenade (free entrance). Arranger Jessica Keet will provide the hundreds of beautiful colourful and fragrant arrangements on the cars that will be lined up.
Saturday 20 April
Saturday has a busy programme. The highlight is the start of the Floral Flower Parade Bollenstreek.
- 09:05 performance by Dance and Ballet School Jorien Boot on Queen Wilhelmina Boulevard
- 09.15 Start of the Flower Parade of the Bulb Region with the theme: Changing World
- 12:00 The Mooiste File van Nederland will be set up on the Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard. With the cooperation of firms including Koninklijke Beuk and autobedrijf G. Dol, a number of cars will be displayed on the Oranje Promenade
- 14:00 Special children’s entertainment
- 15:00 Performance by dance and ballet school Jorien Boot
- 17:00 End of day programme on Queen Wilhelmina Boulevard
- 19:30 Street parade with Tamboer- & Trompetterkorps Euroband from Rotterdam, Drumfanfare Forum Hadriani from Voorburg and Showcorps Excelsior from Delft
- 20:00 Tattoo at the end of Queen Wilhelmina Boulevard with the 3 corps of the street parade (free entrance)
- 21:30 End of programme
Sunday 21 April
- 12:00 Set up special vintage cars from the De- HAV (The Historical Automobile Association of the Netherlands) and A-Ford club
- 1:30pm Face painting for kids by BIBI GRIME.
- 14:00 Start of special children’s entertainment
- 18:00 End of programme
Hotel during the Flower Parade
Holland’s Most Beautiful Traffic Jam is part of the Corsoweek Bollenstreek. During this week, there are many events in and around the Bulb Region. It is therefore an ideal period to plan a weekend or week holiday to spend a weekend or week holiday in the area.
