The highlight of every spring in the Bollenstreek is the annual Corsoweek with the Flower Parade Bollenstreek that runs from Noordwijk to Haarlem.

During the construction days of the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek you get a unique look behind the scenes. Are the Corso cars really put by hand and how exactly does that work? Come and see it with your own eyes.

During the Bollenstreek Corsoweek, many events are organized in the various villages and towns where that the Flower Parade will visit. The flower fields in the Bollenstreek are also colored by the blooming flower fields during the Corsoweek. This week is therefore also the most popular week for visitors to come and admire the flowers in the Netherlands.

In short, visit during the Corsoweek the Bollenstreek or come for a few days to enjoy all the spring. Below you will find information about events and activities during the Corsoweek 2021.

Events Corsoweek 2021

In 2019 there are many events to visit during the Corsoweek. The Corsoweek is earlier than usual this year. This is because the Flower Parade has been moved forward by the Easter weekend and King’s Day.

The cozy flower village of Noordwijkerhout also has many activities during the Bollenstreek Corsoweek. For example, the Flower Event is a free flower show in the White Church in the center of the village. There are beautiful flower mosaics to admire and on Friday night the Corso cars from 2019 can be seen during the Flower Festival.

Corsomarkt in Lisse

On the Friday before the Bloemencorso and on the Corsodag itself, tradition is traditionally a large Corso market organized in the center of Lisse. In addition to many stalls, there is also entertainment in the already cozy flower village.

On Saturday 25 April and Sunday 26 April you have the opportunity to take a flight over the flower fields with a helicopter. This unique sightseeing flight is a great success every year. Flying with a helicopter is great but the view over the flower fields and the Bloemencorso makes it even more unique.

As a city of flowers, Haarlem is the final destination of the route of the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek. In Haarlem, during the Corsoweek there are also many activities to focus on flowers. On Saturday evening the Bloemencorso arrives in the city center of Haarlem and on Sunday the corso cars are parked

View the Corso Floats on Sunday

On Sunday 14 April, the Corso floats can be admired all day on the Nassaulaan – Gedempte Oude Gracht. So you can quietly enjoy the Corso cars and view them from up close.

Noordwijk is not only the starting point of the Bloemencorso on Saturday 25 April. The seaside resort is dedicated to the flowers throughout the weekend. On Friday evening 24 April there will be a special parade of 40 cars and 3 floats on the Oranje Promenade. On Saturday, April 25, at 9:15 am the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek starts with the route to Haarlem and on Sunday 26 April the Most Beautiful File can also be admired.

A visit to the Corsoweek is not complete without a visit to the most beautiful spring garden in Europe: Keukenhof. This flower park has been the favorite of visitors from all over the world for years.

Keukenhof Gardens is a popular day out in the Corsoweek. Enjoy the Netherlands at its best. From the flower park there are several Keukenhof bike routes through which you can enjoy the flower fields and the surroundings while cycling.
