Is there free parking anywhere in Noordwijk?
Yes, every summer the Municipality of Noordwijk organizes a free beach shuttle bus that takes you from a free car park in Noordwijk to the beach. Both parking and bus are free.
When does the shuttle bus run to the beach?
From 5 July to 23 August 2025 , the shuttle bus will run every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) to the beach. On weekdays with nice beach weather, the shuttle bus is also often available. The free shuttle bus also runs during events such as the Ibiza Festival.
The Beach Shuttle runs continuously in a ‘loop’ from 10:00 to 19:00. The bus passes all stops twice an hour. Adjusted driving times apply during major events.

Visitors who want to stay for a bite to eat or enjoy the beach longer can also return to their cars after 7pm. Taxi Brouwer will take visitors back to their car in the car park at a reduced rate of €11.00. Taxi Brouwer: +31 (0)71 – 361 10 00

The shuttle bus to the beach has 2 stops.
P1 – Car park Van Berckelweg 32 (Koninklijke Beuk) in Noordwijk (free parking)
The free shuttle bus to the beach runs from the car park of Koninklijke Beuk at Van Berckelweg 32 in Noordwijk. – When P1 is full, P2 will open (car park with bus stop) at Duinwetering 107 (near Northgo college).
Stop 1 at Vuurtorenplein Noordwijk Beach
The first stop is at the Vuurtorenplein (near the Lighthouse) on the north side of the boulevard in Noordwijk. From this stop you can walk straight to the beach. From this stop you can easily go to the following beach bars:

- Strandpaviljoen De Zeemeeuw
- B.E.A.C.H. Noordwijk
- Witsand
- Tulum
- De Koele Costa
- Beach Break
Stop 2 at Palaceplein Noordwijk Beach
The second stop on the boulevard of Noordwijk is Palaceplein. From this stop you can easily go to the following beach bars:
- Strandpaviljoen Van Roon
- Nomade Beach House
- Alexander Beach Club
- Breakers Beach House (Hotel Huis ter Duin)
You can also walk from this stop to the pleasant shopping center of Noordwijk aan Zee.
Are dogs allowed on the Beach Shuttle?
Small dogs -on a leash of course- are allowed on the Beach Shuttle. However, the transport companies operating the Beach Shuttle are only insured for passengers and not for pets, so they travel at your own risk.
